Ben Cates, Rutherford County Recreation Director, wants to thank all our playground leaders and all participants for another successful Winter Recreation season. Please check back later this month for information about Summer Rec times and locations.

Winter Rec is Closed for the Season

Recreation had a great 2015-16 Winter season. We opened in October of 2015 and concluded all activities at the end of Apri 2016. Winter Rec will return in the fall with a whole new slate of open gym, Jr. Pro basketball, football, volleyball, and other exciting activities.

Summer Recreation Returns May 31st

Rutherford County Summer Recreation will begin a new season on May 31, 2016. The Summer Rec program will be open for 8 weeks during May, June, and July. Our last day of Rec will be on Friday, July 22, 2016. Please check back for specific times and locations in your community. We would like to express our gratitude to all our gym leaders, parents, and particpants that made the 2015 Summer Rec season so much fun. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2016. Remember, nobody loses with County Recreation.

Country Rec Sponsored Softball and Baseball

Recreation sponsored baseball and softball league's new season has begun. We appreciate the hard work of our coaches and our league schedule coordinator, George Hockenberry.

Eagleville Jr. Pro Football

County Rec sponsored Jr. Pro Football at Eagleville will start another season beginning with practices this summer. Please check with Bruce Haley at Eagleville School for more information about this excellent program. They concluded their 2015 season in November with League Championships in Flag, Division !, Division 2, and Division 3 football.

 

Adult Volleyball @ Eagleville Concludes

County Rec sponsored Adult Volleyball at Eagleville has completed its first Winter Rec season. We would like to congratulate Karen Leathers for a very successful program. Participants got a great physical work out, and had a great time competing at Eagleville gym. Please check back next year for more exciting volleyball action.

Please keep up with your daily attendance totals and transfer them to the sheet Mr. Cates will send you by the last week of the season. Be sure to put a grand total of attendance on the bottom right hand corner.
