Summer Recreation!

The Rutherford County Conservation Board has sponsored county-wide recreation for the last 35 years. We feel it has served many needs throughout the county and has carried recreation to the communities we are serving.

With the cooperation of the county director of schools, and the many principals of the schools we are using and the community clubs that are working with us, the county program will start on June 1 and go through July 24th.

There will be 21 recreation areas throughout the county and Lavergne pool will be open to the public in the afternoons. A softball league, coach-pitch league, and baseball league have been formed in 8 communities in the county. Click on the links on the right to find out times and locations for the various activites for each site.

We feel we have a good staff, that will provide our participants with wholesome
fun this summer.We are looking forward
to serving the recreational needs of the people of this county this summer.
